Extensive radio carbon dating tests have been conducted by Univesity of Sydney, Australia, University of Waikato New Zealand and The New Zealand Institute of Nuclear Science, and have conclude beyond any doubt that these Kauri forests grew 30,000 to 50,000 years ago and beyond.
